How do students arrive and depart North Lake school?
Students can be dropped off at North Lake school to attend Summer School, or 5K - 8th grade students can be dropped off at Lake Country, Stone Bank, or Richmond School to ride the bus to North Lake school. There will also be busing from North Lake school back to Lake Country, Stone Bank, and Richmond schools for 5K-8th grade students. Do I need a login/account prior to registering?
To begin registration, click the Registration tab to link to our registration page. This page has helpful information about registration. From our registration page you should click REGISTER NOW after 8:00AM on April 4, 2024. The REGISTER NOW link will direct you to our new registration system. Once there, scroll to the bottom of the page and choose the grade level your child will enter in the Fall of 2024 to begin registration. There is no login/account to set up prior.
PLEASE NOTE: If you left your browser tabs open to our website you may need to close them and re-open to update the links to the registration system after 8:00AM.
How do I determine if we will be charged the non-district fee?
There is no registration fee (just course fee) for students who reside in the following school districts: Lake Country, Richmond, North Lake, and Stone Bank. Students who have been open enrolled in these districts for more than one year do not pay a registration fee (just course fee). If you are registering a non-district student or a student that has been open enrolled for less than 1 year, please note there is a $75.00 registration fee per class. If your residential address is located in the Lake Country, Richmond, North Lake, or Stone Bank School district, but your student attends another school you will not be charged the non-district registration fee. Fees are due at the time of registration.
How do I cancel a class for my child?
Email us by using the CONTACT US tab or summerschool@mylakecountryschool.org - we will issue the refund and the system will notify you that it was completed. Requesting to cancel a class is common when students are added to a wait list class. Parents will request a refund for the "back up" class. It is also common when students are accidentally added to a class for the wrong period.
Is there after school care?
Summer School does not offer extended care. All students must be picked up at 12 Noon or take the bus to their school pick up location to be picked up. The YMCA does offer a Summer Day Camp with a location at Lake Country School. Summer School busing does take students to Lake Country School. More information can be found on the YMCA website. Please note the YMCA is not affiliated with our summer school program.
