Art Explorers

Using a variety of materials and interesting hands-on techniques, students will explore the wide world of art. Artists of all abilities will have the opportunity to let their imaginations run free in an atmosphere that focuses on creativity and most of all fun!

Basketball Skills

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-5th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Class Fee $8

Practice basketball fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship in this class. We will run drills and play scrimmages to develop your child into a better basketball player.

Beginning Cooking

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-6th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Periods: 2

Class Fee $25

Join us as we explore delicious kid-friendly recipes as well as safe cooking skills. You will also create your own recipe book so you can continue to cook at home.

Beginning Piano

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-5th Grade in Fall of 2024

Calling all budding musicians! Come and learn how to play the piano in a fun and friendly group piano course setting. We’ll explore basic piano skills, such as how to sit at the piano, how to position your hand at the keyboard, and how to read simple music notation to play some beginner’s songs. We’ll do a variety of musical activities to learn about the keyboard, such as coloring, singing, interactive Smart Board activities, and of course, playing the piano!

Build Your Own Country

Have you ever wanted to be in charge of your own country? Well, in this class you're the boss! You'll use your creativity to create and design all the different parts of your country. This includes writing laws, designing a flag, composing a national anthem, describing the landscape, and so much more! The possibilities are endless!

Busy Bees

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 3rd-5th Grade in Fall of 2024

Explore the world of bees & build your own bee house to take home to help support bees. We’ll read, write, paint, draw, and build. This class is designed to keep your interest and keep you busy.

Digital Art

Explore your creativity in a digital format. Use Canva, AI generated art, and other tools to create your own stickers, posters, labels, comic strips, and more!

Drama Club

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 5th-8th Grade in the Fall of 2024

In this club you will experience the challenge of acting out different parts of a real play. We will also engage in different dramatic and fun games along the way to prepare for our final project. This project will be to perform a fun play in front of an audience of parents and peers.

Mini Legos

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 5th-8th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Period: 1

Class Fee $35

Are you a master Lego builder? Do you have a lot of patience and good concentration? This class is for you! During this course we will be building a structure with micro legos. These legos are smaller than normal and require a great deal of patience to create the structures. We will also take frequent breaks to help with our concentration. Students will be able to choose their kits before class starts.

Games Challenge

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 3rd-5th, 5th-8th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Games! In this class, students will discover game strategies using math, logic, and problem-solving skills all while having fun playing both new and old board games. Gym Game Galore

Games Galore offers students an awesome opportunity to participate in various indoor sports and activities. Activities and sports include the following: Pirate Ball, Floor Hockey, Kick Ball, Basketball, Dodgeball, Indoor Soccer, Matball, Handball, Capture the Flag, and Speedball.

Math Skills

Prepare for the upcoming school year by practicing math skills through activities and games. We will review grade level concepts and have fun while doing it.

The Book Was Better

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-6th, 5th-8th Grade in Fall of 2024

Your mind is a great movie producer and director. As we read we create the movie with our imagination. Sometimes the movie our mind creates is better than the movie Hollywood creates. During the course we will take apart popular books and read them by sharing chapters as a group, then watch the movie and compare the two. Some book titles could be (but are not limited to) Pictures of Hollis Woods, Holes, Wonder, The Lorax. As a class we will decide which books and movies we would like to compare.

Outdoor Adventure Education

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-6th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Embark on a journey of self-discovery and teamwork with our Outdoor Adventure Education summer school class. This dynamic and engaging program is designed to blend outdoor activities with the development of essential life skills. Through a combination of team building, cooperative games, and hands-on outdoor experiences, participants will cultivate resilience, leadership, and a deep connection with nature.

Outdoor Field Sports

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 5th-8th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Class Fee $10

Enjoy learning outside playing a vast array of games such as; Capture the Flag, Frisbee Golf, Whiffle Ball, Golf swing basics, Outdoor Basketball, football and more. On a rainy day, enjoy movies and a snack.

Special Education Reading and Math

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 5th-8th Grade in Fall of 2024

Period: 2 

Class Fee $5

Students enrolled are recommended by their special education teacher. Small group instruction that targets IEP goals in reading and math is meant to maintain skills gained during the school year. Some support is available for general education classes.

Summer Show Choir

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-8th Grade in the Fall of 2024

It’s show time! Come and be part of our summer show choir team as we learn fun and energetic pop songs and dance routines. We’ll use a variety of musical activities to learn about good singing technique, play musical games, and we’ll explore qualities of great performers. Come and join the fun!

Tech Time Out!

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 3rd-5th,5th-8th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Class Fee $25

Put your phones, computers, and games away as we take an adventure into a world without technology. Are you parents always telling you to find other things to do? This class can help with that! This class will focus on arts and crafts and puzzles. Things to do when you can’t have technology. We can make friendship bracelets, slime, scrapbooks or color by number. We will also spend time working on puzzles and logic problems to stimulate our brains. The activities chosen to complete will be determined by the wants of the students of this course.

The Curious Mathematician

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 3rd-5th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Do you like to play with numbers? Enjoy logic? Come up with your own solutions? In this collaborative class, you’ll put your skills to the test working together to solve non-routine math & logic problems with multiple pathways to solutions and challenge one another to strategy board games. (Challenging Course-Must be willing to work hard)

Volleyball 1

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 5th-7th Grade in Fall of 2024

Class Fee $5.00

Calling all fifth, sixth, and seventh graders that enjoy pushing themselves to improve in a tough sport. We will work on fine tuning our basic volleyball ball skills and scrimmaging against each other to learn how to better play the game of volleyball!

Yoga, Mindfulness, and Sunshine

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 3rd-5th, 5th-8th Grade in the Fall of 2024

Class Fee $22

Learn how to be a healthier you! Stretch your body, improve your balance, and have fun practicing yoga and mindfulness all in the sunshine! In this class, we will be learning new yoga poses, mindfulness basics, and spending time outside in the sunshine, all while building attention span, self-control, and compassion. Yoga mats will be provided and taken home at the end of the session.
